Many many thanks for sharing our experimental reading and discussion on Heidenreich‘s and Benn’s  thoughts on ALTERN/AGING, perspectivized as a hybridity problem of understanding and translating different dimensions of style. Thanks to Professor Joe Lorenz as „native speaker“ we could offer our talk in German AND English. A special thanks goes to Dr. Edmond Kembou for introducing us to  the concept of hybridity and helping us with his competence and expertise when complex questions on translating hybridity arose.

We saw with interest and enthusiasm that Heidenreich and Benn indeed merged into a multi-perspective albeit „whole“ text. 

Let’s do it again – after our spring break when we start afresh in May with thoughtful texts and deep reading in English and German. Looking forward to be able to welcome you again then.
